Properties: White or light yellow crystal with a strong irritating odor. Soluble in acetone, ethanol, and chloroform; insoluble in water. Melting point: 86–89°C.

Applications: CHMI is mainly used as a heat-resistant modifier in polymer materials, a vulcanizing cross-linking agent in the rubber industry, a photosensitive material in optical applications, an underwater antifouling agent in marine engineering, and as an extractant and bactericide in the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, CHMI has important applications in dyes, petrochemicals, and agrochemicals.

Packaging: Kraft paper bags or paper drums. 25 kg/bag (drum).

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Packaged products should be protected from direct sunlight.
